about
This is a song that was written from the text of Psalm 112. It describes what the Psalmist calls "The blessed man." This song calls us all to put our trust in God as our provider. In this hymn blessing is refined for the 21st century person. Blessing is not a monetary thing but a state of being in relationship with God and one another.
lyrics
Blessed is he who heeds by commandments,
Blessed is he who delights in my word.
The homes of the upright will be called blessed;
Their houses will brim with wealth.
A generosity that will never run dry
A generosity that will never run dry
Hallelujah, worship God the provider
Hallelujah, worship the giver of life.
A good man will be called a giver;
A good man will be called a strong tower.
His legacy will be trust in God,
And fear he will not know at all.
A generosity that will never run dry
A generosity that will never run dry
Hallelujah, worship God the provider
Hallelujah, worship the giver of life.
